Hank and Rita's surprise 1986 visit to Mankato Minn.'s record store and public radio station 

With an open day on their calendar between Brainerd and LaCrosse, Hank and Rita stopped by Mankato's Tune Town, a bustling record shop with a great selection of  LPs, cassettes and CDs.

This event gave Hank and Rita a chance to promote their Best Of Hank and Rita album as well as their upcoming Aug. 28 Mankato Brewery show.

Best of all, the rare appearance gave loyal fans a chance to grab an autograph and talk with the duo briefly. Which they did.

From there, the pair headed to the town's public radio station, KMSU, where they were interviewed by Tim and Shelley on the Shuffle Function evening show. The interview, for the most part, went very well as Hank and Rita talked about the Super Bowl, writing their hit tune and much more. Listen here.
